Self Harm Helpline
Gloucestershire Self Harm Helpline provides a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and informative space for people who self harm, their friends, families and carers.
The Mix
Resources and one to one focused support with a trained team, either by phone, web chat, or email for under 25’s.
Papyrus
Confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through a helpline, HOPELINEUK.
GayGlos Youth
GayGlos provides young LGBTQ+ people aged 14-18 with a sense of identity and belonging, helping them to grow in confidence, self-esteem and happiness, both within the group and in the other communities within which they function, ie home, school, locality.
Zero Suicide Alliance
Training and information - The Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) is a collaboration of National Health Service trusts, charities, businesses and individuals who are all committed to suicide prevention in the UK and beyond.
Gloucestershire Eating Disorders Service
The Community Team are the first point of contact for anyone coming into the service. The team complete initial assessments and offer advice and guidance to GPs, practice nurses and carers.
Once an initial assessment has been completed the team work with the individual to decide the best course of action.
The team also work very closely with GPs to ensure physical health is monitored.

One-stop listening service for LBGTQIA+ people on the phone, by email or by instant messaging.
Winston’s Wish
Winston’s Wish is a charity that helps children, teenagers and young adults (up to the age of 25) find their feet when their worlds are turned upside down by grief. Through information, on-demand services, bereavement support and counselling, they support young people across the UK to understand their feelings, process their grief and find ways to move forward with hope for a brighter future.
Help is also available to the adults who are caring for young grieving people including parents, school staff and healthcare professionals.

ChatHealth offers support to young people with questions relating to a wide range of health and wellbeing issues including: relationships, bullying, healthy lifestyle, anxiety, drugs, smoking, stress, body worries, alcohol, self-harm and sexual health. As well as giving advice, the School Nurses can signpost to appropriate services and other support.
Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse
Free, confidential, non-judgmental support and information for individuals affected by rape, sexual assault or abuse at any time in their lives.
Rape Crisis
Help, information and free one-to-one live chat helpline providing emotional support for women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.
Beat Eating Disorders
Supporting people who have or are worried they have an eating disorder, as well as others affected, such as friends and family members.
Gloucestershire Young Carers
Through collaborative efforts with other organisations, Gloucestershire Young Carers provides a wide range of essential services for young carers. The aim is to create opportunities for rest, fun, skill development, and support.
TiC+
Mental Health charity that supports children and young people aged 9-25 and their families. TiC+ counsellors provide young people with counselling support fact to face, by phone, online text chat or video chat.
Parent Support Advice line also available.
Young Glos
Offers support to 14-25 year olds facing a range of issues including; low mood, social isolation, anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, self-harm and general mental health concerns.
On Your Mind Glos
On Your Mind Glos is a place for Children and Young People to turn to when you need help and support with your mental health but you aren’t sure where to go. Use the anonymous Mental Health Support Finder, which is also available via text, for anyone aged 0-25 that will help you find the most appropriate support options for you in Gloucestershire.
